Gabrielle is the President of the Marion County Young Democrats (MCYD)
and is deeply committed to empowering the next generation of leaders to engage in
politics and government. Having recently moved back to Indianapolis in December 2024,
Gabrielle has quickly hit the ground running, eager to help advance the values of the
Democratic Party in the state and beyond. Raised in Carmel, IN, Gabrielle graduated from Carmel High School in 2014 before attending the United States Military Academy at West Point. 2019. After commissioning as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Gabrielle served at various locations, including El Paso, Texas; Columbia, South Carolina; and Camp Humphreys, South Korea, before transitioning from active duty in December 2024. Gabrielle met her wife in 2017 while they were both Cadets at West Point, and they were married in 2020. Together, they share a love for adventure-whether hiking through the local trails or traveling to new destinations. They are also proud pet parents to two dogs, Frankie and Holiday. In her free time, Gabrielle enjoys powerlifting and reading. A passionate advocate for democracy and civic engagement, Gabrielle strongly believes in the mission of MCYD to inspire and empower young people to participate in government and advance the values of the Democratic Party. Gabrielle is deeply aware of the current threats to our democracy and feels that young people must be at the forefront of its restoration and defense. As President of MCYD, Gabrielle is committed to providing opportunities for young Democrats to get involved, develop leadership skills, and make a real impact in Marion County. With a focus on advocacy, education, and activism, Gabrielle is dedicated to creating a more inclusive, progressive future for Indiana and beyond.
