Tiffany Keown
Biography
In 2019, she decided to pursue her passion for politics and policy by becoming a Field Organizer for Mayor Joe Hogsett & Indianapolis City-County Council Campaigns. After winning several key districts, she interned for the Indiana Senate Democratic Caucus under Senator Karen Tallian. This insight into the legislative process is what motivated her to join RISE Indy as the Parent Advocate Coordinator. She led Indianapolis parents to advocate, push, and collaborate on the pressing issues students are facing. Tiffany went back to the credit union in October 2021 as the Assistant Manager for the Near Eastside service center location. She hopes to use her relationship-building skills, financial knowledge, and forward-thinking mindset to impact the credit union and the lives of her members.
Tiffany is honored and enthusiastic to be serving the Marion County Young Democrats as the Finance Chair. Ultimately, she believes that young people are setting the goal post for not only the city but for the state. She hopes to further create space and opportunity for people to get involved and engaged in the decisions being made within our communities. Aside from her professional experience, she is a lover of R&B music, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.
